I've always wanted a leopard gecko...but I've only ever owned an anole....and it didn't go well. D:

What happened? D: If you decided you want a leo i know a few people who would gladly answer any questions you have about them! Also they do have teeth and can break skin despite what everyone says xD

I was a kid...and won him in a fair....I didn't have the first clue regarding keeping reptiles....though, I did have the right lamp for him.

While I do still have the tank, I don't have anywhere to keep it in my room right now...and everywhere else is cat-accessible...so...meh
I have rats now. and when they've gone to ratty heaven, maybe I'll get a lizard.

x3 I dunno, a big nuff leo can probably put up a good fight against a kitteh :P
But generally it's a good idea to have lids on those cages anyways :P Even if leos can't climb lol

Against a cat with a very strong 'kill small things' instinct? no....She kills AND eats mice....most house cats kill them and bring them to you as a gift....she eats them. DX

I'd need a new lid and pretty much everything but the tank....

Not too expensive though, most expensive thing would be the lamp and bulbs o-o
For leos though i recommend carpet and not sand. Will almost completely make impaction impossible! Unless you feed them oversized kick-its x3
The cool part about carpet is that it's even machine washable lol

I've heard carpet or foam mats make good flooring for reptiles...carpet can be washed as you said, and foam/rubber mats can be hosed off...
My ratties have a good couple of years left in 'em, so i've got time. XD

Also: Indeed, I made my av. I'm probably gonna do commissions for them eventually...same basic expression wit your choice of eyewear.
