I LEARNED today!
Warning, this post may contain boring information, swear words, and dumb opinions.
So, today I learned nine of the ten comandments. I also learned that apparently it is illegal to be non religious in a PUBLIC school. It sort of pissed me off.
One of my friends needed help studying for her catechism (however the heck you spell it, I don't care) and I red the questions to her. I thought that one of the questions was rediculous. The answer to the question was "The bible is 100% true and 100% god's word." She spaz freaked at me. "This is why I did not want you to see this! You always have to question everything just because you don't believe doesn't mean you have to be like that." Among some of the "nicer" things she said.
I've never been so hated upon. I'm not really falling under any of the religions, but I am not athiest. My family had to many obnoxios children to attend church, plus we struggled running our dairy farm. It is not my fault we couldn't go to church. Cows don't just stop eating/pooping/calving/producing milk just because we have to leave to do something that is not nessisary. Plus my dad was Lutheren and my mother is Catholic or something like that. We just haven't gone back to church since and I wouldn't really want to.
Some families go to church all the time and are like "praise jesus" constantly. There is a religious school in our small town, and a public school. All of those religious goones can practice their crap out of the public school if they are just going to piss all over other people's choices in life.
The bitch "friend" didn't even know the 10 commandments. One of my actual friends who is religous taught them to her. I remembered them right away, she still can't remember half of them. Seeing as I haven't been to church since I was 3 that is pathetic.

I just pray before every meal and pray before I go to bed. I am a Christian but I don't force my believes on anybody. I don't go to church because I'm working all the time and it would just be more money I would have to spend.

Wow... I should stop being so surprised about this happening in public schools, but I am not. I never had this issue growing up, other then the fact everyone assumed you were Christian. If you were blatant, spoke out otherwise then well :/ Yeah people just aren't very accepting, are they?
