Tornadoes ripped my city up, I'm fine though
14 years ago
I really wish my first journal entry wasn't something like this but I felt I should let people know that, if you saw the news about tornadoes hitting Springfield, Massachusetts (and pretty much the rest of western Massachusetts) that I was in the middle of that. Yeah, and I was freaked out. Also want to let you know that I'm completely fine, I even still have my power and internet access. I didn't turn on anything though until everything calmed down which was not so long ago. The governor, governor Deval Patrick declared a state of emergency and asked for the National Guard to help with clean up he also asked for schools and school related... stuff to be cancelled. I was supposed to graduate college later today (it's midnight over here now) but I'm pretty sure that's been canned. There's live power lines on the ground and I've been told on the news that you don't even have to touch one to get electrocuted, just be near one. :|

That's a link to read about what happened.
In some good news though, this doesn't stop me from continuing to draw and all that, so I'm going to keep on practicing and submitting what I feel isn't utter crap and hopefully keep getting better. :)

Holy crap. D| I'm glad to hear you're okay, at least. :C Do hope the clean up goes smoothly, too. The mid to east coast of the US has been getting hit uber.

Thanks, yeah we're getting hit hard here on the east coast. I'm blessed to be alright and still have my power. Not even the clinic I go to has power. XD
