Honestly, working out makes me feel a lot better. I'm someone that has to do something mildly constructive everyday, otherwise I feel kind of worthless and get a bit depressed and working out really helps me feel like I've accomplished something.
Plus, there's something almost masochistic about spending an hour a day pushing your body as hard as you can and feeling this almost pleasurable soreness the next day, not to mention seeing the change that occurs in your body.
I also like going on walks. I know that it's some form of exercise, but it really is sort of mind-clearing and relaxing for me to just walk the same path that I always take when I walk and just listen to my iPod. It gives me a bit of clarity and gets me out of the house and sort of refreshes me.
Music is also something that makes me feel better. As I said, a lot of what's on my iPod is just fun, trashy pop music, so if I'm ever home along, I can just sort of dance around the house and make a fool of myself (though, I have gotten pretty proficient at shaking my ass). I can be a bit uptight and just being completely silly and stupid is a nice change of pace.
