Ever feel like you're going in circles?
never reaching the end
reaching out until every muscle burns
your heart aches
your legs give out
but still you stretch
and reach
but its always just at your finger tips

your eyes focus on the prize
you gain new determination and a fire starts
a burning need to get to your goal
you give one final stretch and peace fills you
you watch your fingertips stretch around it
and then it disappears

empty
