so i started out my 2011 with a list of things i wanted to complete by the end of the year. One of the things on that list was play a live show. As of June 4th, 2011 the band that i co found played a show at a very very popular venue in my city called The Milwaukee Rave. even tho it was a battle of the bands and we have never played a show before i was willing to take any show, especially when the show is at a major place for famous people to play. we sold about 53 tickets to some very supportive people. most didnt have time to show but i would love to thank them for there purchase of a ticket, it was much appreciated. out off 11 bands we ended up playing 3rd from last witch was an amazing spot to be in for our first show. Most of us were nervous before getting up on stage but it came naturally for me to feel very comfortable up there in front of around 80 people. we played through our set list with the crowd cheering us for our performance and stage presence. i threw high fives across the stage to people as we walked off and talked to other bands who complemented us on our music. at the end of the night we ended up getting 4th place, the band who brought the biggest crowd won this event. Still was a memorable night and i am proud of myself for going through with it.
