Did they get you a general anesthesia or just Novocaine? I remember I got put to sleep for mine and I woke up for a few seconds during the teeth pulling.

I also remember I kept the gauze in my mouth for WAY too long which caused the bleeding to keep going.

So word of advice if you still have the gauze in your mouth, don't leave them in for too long. Give your mouth some air and the bleeding will stop much faster.

lol it just happened. You'd be surprised how often it actually does if you speak to enough people who have had them removed. Like I said, it's not a case of you fully wake up and they need to give you the anesthesia again. Your eyes open ever so slightly and you get a quick look around and see them reaching in your mouth and such, then you drift right back into dream land.

I had mine done before, it's not bad, u just can't open wide or yawn wide. I always eat like soup, yogurt and maybe a shake. give it about a week ro so it well heal fast. :)

i had all 4 pulled a few years ago and it hurt like hell. The drugs they gave me made me feel nothing at all xD

Have fun with the happy pills they give you! I had mine out years ago and they hurt later but it wasn't that bad.

Heheh, yeah I had this done a few years ago too. All 4 of em. I guess it wasn't the worst thing to go through, but it wasn't exactly petting puppies either.

Nice thing is, it's something you only have to go through once. At least, hopefully once. Otherwise you'd be growing some strange set of second teeth.

My mom cut multiple pairs of I-teeth and a second wisdom tooth in her life. It was a while ago, but it did happen. Oddly enough, twins were expected in my mom's generation but it didn't happen.
