Hello guys and gals, ladies and gents, boys and girls, and all you other folk!
Yes, I am indeed finally making a journal entry once again, and this time there’s a fairly simple reason behind it. My furaffinity account is in dire need of submissions that I, myself, have created. Specifically, writing. I could simply transfer pieces over from my deviantART account, but I’d prefer to start making a name for myself on FA on my own.
You’re probably wondering what this has to do with you and why there’s even a point to you reading this in the first place. Well, wonder no longer, and hopefully you’ll find that there really is a point to you reading this (if there isn’t, I’m sorry for having wasted your time).
As an experiment, I will be opening slots for free art. Yes, you heard me right, free art. The pieces will be done on my own time, and will be uploaded when finished. As of right now the amount of slots I’ll be opening is unknown to even myself, but I will likely only open a few at a time until I’ve accumulated enough posts that there’s a decent gallery here.
There will be stipulations as to the length of these posts and I’d like for them to vary. I’m thinking of offering character description stories, in which the character will be described, but in a narrated way. Think of a photograph being taken and the character seeing it, you’d be in her mind and hearing her thoughts or her way of analyzing the image. Perhaps he’s sitting at the water, and another character pushes him in – between the reflection he sees, himself, and his guest’s view of his back after he’s fallen, the character would undergo complete description. An addition to go with a character profile.
Perhaps you want a character profile written up in a classy format and want a little bit of story to it – imagine your character sitting down at a dating site and filling out their nonsensical and annoying forms. Imagine their claws clicking away at the keys on their laptop or desktop while they fill in what will be their “About Me” section. What would they say? How would they act? Take a peek inside your character’s mind and show more than their body, but do so in a fun, innovative rendition on a traditional profile.
Want smut? I can certainly write that. Talk to me and we’ll see if we can arrange anything to be written up. Need some research done? Notes organized? Want some editing to a piece you’re working on done and are alright with me posting it? Want a non-fiction letter written to someone depicting what you’d like to say, but can’t put into words yourself? Anything you can imagine can be proposed – I’ll see what I can do!
Hopefully, these slots won’t last too long and I’ll be able to move onto auctions and other such things, but for the time being, “free” is the word. If you want to trade or leave a tip/donation, that’s up to you and can be discussed. But I’m not charging you for these. All I ask for is your satisfaction and happiness.
If you advertise and comment here with a link to the advertisement, I’ll make sure to reserve a slot for you somewhere along the line. This will be a first-come, first-serve experiment. I’m hoping you’ll all enjoy this and you’ll be willing to work with me until your piece is finished.
As a forewarning, I do have tendonitis, carpal tunnel, and a slippery ulnar nerve, so if there are time periods where my completion is slow, it’s more than likely due to injury to my wrists, hands, or arms. Please be patient. These pieces are free, I hope you can appreciate them even if they take a while to be posted.
So, without further ado, I bring to you slots one through five. Claim them while you can! A waitlist will be made below for those of you who wish to help me advertise this and get something in return. Any advertisement will be greatly appreciated.
