What is the name of your fursona?:
Asher "Wofly" Stay
Where did the name of your Fursona come from?:
A friend very near and dear to my heart could never for the life of him type 'wolfy' [it wasn't a name, but just how he referred to me.] It always came out "wofly." Well, when I found out he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and that they could not operate, I made it into my furry name, sort of to remember him by.
What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?:
I originally started out as a wolf-taur, some seven-and-a-half years ago. Then I became just a wolf furry, then as the years went on, I eventually added the fennec fox and domestic dog/shiba inu. What I've come up with so far is that, there isn't any question of my mental, spiritual, and fascination with wolves. Thus, my choice. The fennec fox came from a point where I was drawn with those fennecy ears, and it stuck; plus, my sleeping habbits and amazing ability to catch things. The domestic dog side comes from the fact that I enjoy living in an easy life, though I do have my wild side.
What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc:
White base fur, silvery-light gray overcoat. Black fingers, black from the shins down, black tail tip, black ear tips with black rings. A yin-yang type marking on his belly. His hair is the same as mine, so whatever color it is dyed. Eyes are green like mine.
What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your irl personality?:
He takes all my of my traits, in a skin-deep way. Knowing me past that point is where you leave the fursona behind, and have to get to know the person behind it. I keep my spirituality, and other private matters out of my furry life.
What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you irl?:
There isn't really anything. Hes just an extraordinary guy, doing ordinary things.
What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?:
I've always said, "If I had a clone, we'd probably hate eachother to the brink of murder." Same thing.
What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?:
"The feeling is mutual, you dickfuck."
How has your fursona changed over the years?:
As I said earlier, I started off as a wolf-taur. Black and blue markings, sort of typical of a young first-timer. The markings and changes have just sort of come out of finding little tidbits that I enjoy and like.
How long have you had this fursona?:
I've been Wofly for the last seven-and-a-half years. But this particular one, that I am rounded down to now, about a year.
Would you like to be more like your fursona?:
What, you mean, being only skin deep? Hell no.
