*Holds up dvd collection* I have to freaking agree!! This show is epic!!

I used to own the collection but it got lost in all my moving D:

The series was WAY too short.

It's up there with Trigun for me :D

I'm waiting for the Trigun movie to come out too :P

You gotta think though. If they went any farther it would be one of horrible animes like dragonball or inuyasha. Starts out great but runs for way too long.

You're right but they should at least bring it back for a few more seasons. It's had more than enough time to refresh itself.

Maybe but I rather have an anime short and sweet. Like Hellsing. They basically gave Alucard, God powers that it's just unfair. But they made it work with only couple of episodes. If it went on any longer, you get robot chicken trying to make fun of it and doing a horrible job on it but enough to actually get people to like it cause it was such a bad anime. I'll just have to watch outlaw to see but sometimes, it's best to keep it short.

I love this show. I have the box set. I loved how they were like real people, and how Gene got sidetracked from his "vengeance and answers" quest by trying to get money. I thought that was cool.

Also, Aisha Clan-Clan might be the reason I'm a furry.

The group goes to the vacation world Tenrei so Gene can look for Caster shells to prepare for their trip to the Galactic Leyline. The crew relax in the hot springs and Gene meets with two priests. They give him the Caster shells in exchange for lewd footage of a third female priest named Urt. Due to the amount of fanservice and nudity, this was the only episode not to be aired on Toonami or Adult Swim in the US.

Outlaw Star was my first anime besides Tenchi Muyo that I fell in love with. I own the special collectors DVD set =)

Trigun is a very good series too! I saw Outlaw Star in 1998 with Tenchi Muyo on CN. Saw Trigun a few years later ~ 2001.

My hubby intro'd me to "Outlaw Star", he's got the DVD collection. I have to agree that is one of the best series out there, but far too short. I also wish we could get a hold of the "outlawed" episodes that weren't released here in the US.

outlaw star and trigun are my two top favorite animes trigun being number one for me but if i was to choose out of them two id cheat and make them both number 1

WOOT OutLay Star. It was one of my cherry popers as well XD. I LOVE that CowBoy BeBop and OutLaw Stare are in the same Universe as well!!
