Umm... I have a medical question... if anyone can help...

Has anyone here had Appendicitis or know someone who has? What is the most common symptoms of it? How much does it cost to get the Appendix removed?
The reason I ask is I think I may have it. I'm not completely certain, but it makes the most sense to me. It used to be that I thought this moderate to severe belly pain was just me not being able to digest certain food, but yesterday I hadn't eaten anything that would cause the painful reaction and I also had a fever which doesn't usually happen.
I'm just a bit concerned about it. I'm not insured and would like to be sure that's the problem before having to pay a lifetime of medical debt for something...

Can't tell you if it is, but I'd get it checked, better safe than sorry.

how long have you had it? appendicitis generally becomes critical rather quickly, from what I've been told. My mother had it and it burst within 48 hours of onset. And the pain is like... cripplingly excruciating.

i really doubt it then... i mean, i'm not a doctor, bt that doesn't fit the MO really. could be irritable bowel syndrom or spastic colon, crone's, a few thins give you severe intestinal pain on and off

Well im not sure iv had pains there & it wasn't anything but you should get it checked cause once it bursts, Its Game Over. From what iv heard that is.
