Time to switch banks...
...It seems my current bank(USBank) signed me up for a health insurance policy without checking with me first. It was a good policy at $30 a month, but in addition to it being unapproved, there were two other problems...
1) I already have sufficient coverage courtesy of my employer(and an employer who will make goddamn sure they won't be able to weasel out of paying)
2) This is a company that we once used for our insurance through work. We abandoned them when they found out about my condition and tried to weasel out of covering me(my boss gave them an ultimatum: Cover me the way they cover everyone else or we find a new company. They tried to call his bluff)
So yeah, I don't trust this company anyway. Waiting for the refund of the first payment to be credited.
It really sucks since USBank is the first halfway decent bank I've ever had an account with.

FA+

I'm still uncertain that I want to leave USBank as I can't be certain this debacle was THEIR fault(it could very easily have been the insurance company being douchebags), but this is a pretty serious matter to not take extra steps to ensure everything was in order before approving the payment. If this had occurred two years ago, I'd be in deep shit from overdrafts over this.
