Talk about a roller coaster of a day & the morning after....

I went to work, for the most part nothnig happening, so was really bored. Near end of the day felt like I could have fallen asleep.
Went to this potluck dinner annual meeting thingy my work apparently has. Lots of good food, got a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from my work place, which was quite a surprise. Granted, only soso of a surprise due to the fact my nickname at work is "Turbo", due to how well and fast I accomplish stuff at work.
We were then walking out of the room and one of the other people there (remember the place I work at has people with varying levels of functionality, some lower the n others). This person seemed to be having a seizure. Man, talk about a....... not sure what emotion to put as I am still a bit shocked and feeling a bit odd from it all. But, basically, my dad & I as well as one or two others help to hold the guy while he was having his seizures.
A few of them went to lay him down and they needed something for his head. We were in the hallway which was next to a small laundry room. The door was kinda stuck, but I managed to get it open and get what liiked to be a small sack filled with stuff that could be used as a makeshift pillow.
After they got him laying down and on his size, I kinda was holding his back in place as well as trying to rub his back and shoulders, hoping perhaps it could give some sense of like, calm or help out somehow. Needless to say, after a bit, we helped him into a wheel chair, got his shoes back on and help him into his mother's car.
Man, talk about one rollercoaster of a day ending on quite a high note. ^_^;
Just typing this up in the hopes it may drain some of the stress that probably got built up from it all.
EDIT. I do not know if part of what happened this morning had some connection of the night before, but it seems that in my changing my alarm to wake up earlier (To give myself some game time due to not getting any), I accidently set my alarm for PM instead of AM. I woke up this morning to the sound of footsteps and doors being closed. I was thinking "My god, why the hell are the neighbors up so early? My alarm hasn't even gone off for 5:15am, what the hell are they doing awake and moving around like that?
About 10 or 15 seconds passed as I tried to ignore it. Something in my mind was like "Wake the f*ck up and check the clock now." I do that, and the clock reads 9am.
I was like -_- You gotta be kidding me. Needless to say, I checked the bus schdule, saw I had an hour to prepare, took a shower, ate a quick breakfast, walked to the 2nd bus stop (15 minute walk or so as I did not want to wait an hour or so for the 1st bus to come.) Needless to say, I got to work at 1030 instead of my normal early time of say, 720 or so.
But, they were pretty chill with it, knowing that these things happen at random. They also thanked me and my dad, saying how the mother was extremely appreciative of helping that we did.
And, I saw the guy who had the seizure at work and patted him on the shoulder telling him I was glad to see he was better, even if he may not have remembered me or stuff. But, it felt good to see him ok.

Yeah, it was a shock when it was happening. Seeing as his face was turning blue. >_< man that was crazy and scary. I suspect that my ability to help and not stand there staring in amazement or worry like others is that now that I think of it, I think there was a time where me and my dad, maybe my mom also, were at some place (I can't recall) and someone had had a seizure I think. Needless to say, I think I did a pretty good job of helping. Granted, I do think it was not that much, but still.
Also, I suspect the reason I felt close to crying could have been due to the fact that many times, it seems that certain highly charged emotions people feel can at times "bleed over" and affect me in the same manner. I suspect that perhaps this person's mother was feeling those same emotions, and due to how sensitive I seem to be on others emotions at times, it affected me as well. Needless to say, after the ordeal, I was quite drained. ^_^; I hope my dad is doing okay, as I am sure it was hard on him, what with lots of the back problems he has (3 back surgeries and steel rods & screws in his lower back. ^_^; )
But if you want to PM me what happened, feel free. I will be attempting to take just a bit of a catnap (due to friends coming over tommorow afternoon and spending the night), but there is a chance the catnap turns into "super long sleepy time stuff." XD
So, take care of yourself, I will try to do the same, and I'll talk to ya more when I get your Pm ok? ^_^ And I am the same for those I call friends and etc also. ^_^ Even just random people probably. XD
short reply is short.
HAVE FUN WITH YOUR FRIENDS!!!
