Hardly anyone seems to study it any more, so many artist producing work that, regardless of how good of an artist that person is, looks off because they haven't pay'd attention to how muscles work, how skin works, how bone structures move.

Now, looking at my gallery you'd think I'd be the last person to critique others about anatomical correctness, but hey, DILLIGAF?

if you don't get what I mean take this as an example, when a character lifts their arm up regardless of how muscular they are the pectoral muscle stretches and flattens out over the chest/ribcage. It does not stay the same shape as before.

also a trend I notice is muscular or athletic characters having little or no shoulders, lats, obliques or thigh & calf muscles. If they have a ripped 6 pack they're going to have obliques too.
