I went to an anime convention this weekend with my friend Tom... I was SUPER reluctant to go. So Tom introduced me to his friends who had also brought some random people, It was a really chill, cool group of people and one of them and I hit it off really really well. His name is Matt. We hung out alone last night, took me to dinner, refused to let me pay, we're hanging out tomorrow too - Texting constantly, it's weird the way that he mirrors my own life. he was in a long term committed relationship that failed because the partner wasn't 100% in the relationship / ran it into the ground.....his friends helped save him, his father passed away from leukemia similar to what Johnny had, he knows what it feels like to have a track record of unfortunate relationships. I'm just...I'm giddy and silly and I totally forgot how this works and I don't know when it becomes a date and when it progresses past 'just friends' and ....GAH haha, I forgot how this goes

Okay, like here, an example- He usually goes to bed by about 11, my time. He has a 9-5 job that requires him to leave his house by # because he does public transport. The past few nights we've texted waaay past 11 and tonight I said 'If I was a better woman I'd stop answering so you'd actually go to bed at the correct time'and he sent back 'I'd say the better one would be someone who manages to keep me so interested in her that I forget about the time. ;)

I've entirely missed this and I just.....I'm so goofy lol.

I've also been getting those adorable text messages at 7 AM saying 'Good Morning!' I'm so silly. Smitten. I think that's the correct word for this. Because I'm too damn old for crushes, right?? XD
