Puma "meow": had her for as long as I can remember. She used to come into our room at night and meow at us because she wanted to be pet. She was a tortoiseshell cat. She was really old and she had to be put down last year.
Waggies: Black cat. I think she had white paws, it was so long ago. She had to be put down a little after we moved to my current house. She was a pain most of the time, always hissing and whacking, but she could be a really sweet cat when she wanted to be.
Baby: She was a calico. She was a sweet little cat, and my brother's favorite out of all of our cats at the time. She passed away out of old age last year.
Kissy: She was a long haired gray tabby. She never really liked being picked up, and she only let my dad pick her up. Me and my sister could, but only when she was standing. I miss seeing her laying on the rocking chair on the porch. Passed away last year from old age.
Whisper: Collie/border collie mix. She was black and white, with black speckles on her front legs. We had her since she was a puppy. Contrary to her name, she was a very loud and hyper dog. Passed away last year from old age. Her, Puma, Baby, and Kissy passed away within months of each other.
Midnight: Black cat. She lived with us for a while and had two litters of kittens. I'm not really sure how she died, but my parents think maybe she got hit by a car. Passed away some years ago.
"Nan": Old fluffy black cat. He didn't come inside and didn't like being picked up. He'd only let you pet him. He was kind of old when he showed up and since cats know when they're close to dying, he left so we wouldn't find him. Passed away a few years ago.
Panther: One of Midnight's daughters. She was really cute and playful, and we aren't sure what happened to her. She just disappeared one day and didn't come back. She's been gone for some years.
Spunky: Panther's older brother, also black. I remember he used to headbutt you when you got down on your hands and knees. He and Panther used to play with each other all the time. Also disappeared several years ago.
Peepers: Gray cat, Spunky's sister. She was always the skittish one. We could almost never touch her or even get close to her before she ran off, but she was still a good cat. Disappeared some years ago.
Cyclops: Gray cat, Spunky and Peeper's sister. She was the first one let us touch her. When I went back to look at them for the first time, the other kittens ran back to their nest while she actually was brave and walked right up to me and let me pet her. She had a worm in her nasel passage which once treated, caused her (I believe) right eye to "die" and turn black and unusable. That's how she got her name. She was a real nice cat and the fact she was half blind didn't damper her spirits. Disappeared some years ago.
No-name: Orange tomcat. We didn't have him for very long. He died/disappeared after a year or two, I can't remember that well.
Sugarplum: White rabbit with black spots. Got her from my Omah. She passed away because my other rabbit got her pregnant while she was too young. He kits also all died. She was my rabbit, and I only had her for a year or so.
Spotty: My other rabbit. He was really my sister's but... He was white with tan spots. He was a grumpy thing. Died of old age.
Our guinea pigs: We had a few, but I don't remember their names. They passed away when I was still a little kid.
Our hermit crab: He also died when I was little. We never really got too attached to him. I remember we used to let him walk around on the carpet in the living room.
Callie: Pale calico cat. She was so sweet and had a very cute meow. She didn't like being held, but she loved to be pet. She also ate out of your hand. She disappeared around Thanksgiving.
Dusk "Dust": Callie's brother. He was a little mangy looking, and he always backed away if you got close. One day he came home with a messed up back leg. We aren't really sure how it happened, but once it healed, he was back to himself, even though he had a permanent limp. Disappeared during the winter.
Little Gray and her kittens: I'm not going to name the kittens but I'll say there were four of them. I still miss them so much.... Little Gray was Dusk's sister. My mom brought her and her kittens to the SPCA. I miss her, but she got adopted not long after, so I'm happy about that.
Spot: He was a black cat with two spots, one on his chest and one between his hind legs. He disappeared in the fall I think. He was just over a year old. I miss him sleeping with me.
CT: One of Spot's litter mates, a gray tabby. We gave him to someone from my church, so I know he has a good home.
I think that's all of them. All 27 of them.....There have been so many over the years, it's getting hard to remember all of them. I love all my pets, past and present.
Current pets: Cougar, Witch, Yoda, Faithful, Bear, and Fuzz, all cats. I hope I don't lose any of them anytime soon.
