EVE Online: Incursion first thoughts
Updated my journal
I just downloaded a 14 day trial of EVE Online: Incursion on Steam, and I finally got a chance to actually play the sodding thing because it took forever to update and then the servers went down for maintenance. So these are my first thoughts.
So far, it's really peaceful, I like it so far. The interface is a little weird though, it's very difficult to learn and not very user friendly. But once you figure the sodding thing out it's not so bad, although I don't blame anybody for not liking the interface of this game it's that backwards. The music is very tranquil, the graphics are nice but the texture work is a little iffy and the game is slow paced and peaceful. It's not fast paced and hectic(like Black Prophecy which is similar to EVE). I tried Black Prophecy which is a free to play space age MMO, like EVE but EVE requires a monthly fee, and I became interested in space age games. Although Black Prophecy is a little faster paced and it can make you severely motion sick if you're not careful. EVE is the complete opposite, slow and peaceful, the combat isn't at all hectic and the music is very nice. Too bad about the sodding interface.
Another game I might look at is the X series, another space age game that I would like to try(among others but I won't name them all).
Rating so far: 9/10
