I'm here on this site for cute things. I watch people who post that stuff but I can't see it cause they took my adult privileges away from me. I'm actually happy they did though cause more cute stuff catches your eye. Keep doing what you're doing, even if you do post some adult stuff or not idc. Good art and stories are just that.

Honestly, I prefer porn.
But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate clean art.
If it's well done, I like it.
If it looks like it was scribbled out in MS Paint and no effort was put in, then I don't like it.

In a website covered with porn, dearheart, its the clean artists that stick out, I like to think.

I love your dragon work, and Tygar, and Wolf's Den stuff the most of all! No porn there, hahaha! I would get weird fast if you just started poting stuff left and right that was really dirty. Not that I'd object to you doing it, but it would be strange of you, considering your history thus far.

Angel, if you read this, then here goes... I personally do not appreciate you less for not transitioning your art to a less clean type. And, I agree with Az... The people that are /actually/ respected and admired are the people that go into realms other than just simplistic... People that go with substance to what they do. I'm glad you're not posting it! I like your art as is =]

Your work does stray into the blue-lined zone, but it's still well-drawn, tasteful, and romantic when appropriate. You have developed a substantial body of work without going into full-on porn, showing that It Can Be Done.

I do try to do the PG-13 thing, which usually involves the faces only clause of anything sexually related or silhouettes.

Anyways! I will take that all to heart, I'm just beginning to think I should appreciate you guys more since you've stuck with me thus far. Thanks so much for commenting and being around for me to talk with.

I don't respect people because they draw yiff/porn. I respect out of morals and manners that I've grown up with. :3

I don't really care wheter someone uploads porn or not. Either arts can be enjoyable, and not just under a "sexual" aspect. Some "yiff" themed pictures can show the feelings of love between two people (or two furs in this case) without the need to be something dirty. Or others, if solo, well, that can reflect the instincts we all have. Now, to answer your question, nah, I don't respect you because you do or do not upload yiff. I respect you because of who you are. You are a talented artist, but you are also someone who takes the time and reply to the ones who comment. Of course, you can't do it all the time, and it's understandable, but unlike many artists whose art is amazing, you don't just ignore everyone or think you are the best and everyone else is just a nuisance. Then, if the question is "do you respect me for as an artist because I don't upload yiff?", the answer is no. I wouldn't lose my respect for you even if you begun posting yiff pictures. It's an artist own choice, and it's something I don't mind at all.

Thanks very much for taking the journal to heart and trying to help me out here. I've somewhat come to the conclusion that I should appreciate what I have right now and not look on myself badly if others do well? Does that make sense?

I understand that you might want more attention to your art, but if you were to draw yiff for that purpose only (I think the message was also this in part?), then it wouldn't be your heart's art anymore. You sure don't lack watchers, nor people to appreciate what you do, so yeah, I guess you should appreciate what you have right now ^^ but you can always try your best to become even better, and try to achieve more. Life is a constant challenge and it can be a good way to put yourself to try.

Think of it this way, the ancient Greeks drew nudes all the time, so it must be ok ;D Lol anyway, you said you had hit your wall in art, I did too about a week ago. Wrote about it in a journal here, doubt anyone saw it though. It's all in your own personal taste.

i respect your for it because you've made a choice not to post it, and you've got the integrity to stick by that ;D

your style really doesn't need the pron-ing some do, you are good enough to make a scene work.

however your choice is ultimately what matters, so ask yourself. "Is this how i can best do it/ get my image across?" or something like that.

You got quite a few posts here! And I'm sure there might be one that says the same as what I will, but I'm not quite in the reading mode to sift and find it :)

I really appreciate that you are a more or less clean artist! Nudes, if done artistically, are what ever in my book, I do them too, and artistic nudes are acceptable to just 90% of the public. But aside from that, we modest artists are few and far between. I have my filters turned on so I don't see when people post mature stuff, but sometimes I turn them off when getting commissions that require me to look at some NSFW refs, and I often forget to change it back so I will see what some of the people I watch post. I've unwatched a few artists cause of this when I see what they draw 90% of the time that I just can't support.

I myself have been tempted with the thought, or just the depression of the fact, that if I want to really make it as popular artist here, I need to add some smut to my gallery. Stuff that people would buy. But I don't. Keep your chin up, us fellow non-yiffs are out here, supporting each other, and in the long run, I think you will gain far more respect from people rather then giving in. Keep it up, I'm watching ;)

Also, you said you hit an art block; SUCK! Something I do some times is I'll look around at other art I really love, and when I see a piece I really like that some one else did, I will try and copy it. The only personal gain I go for in making it is learning how they drew it, the angle of the image and the flow. It's a great way to learn for one, and two, during the time of making it it can spark something and you start branching off with it into your own thing that doesn't look the same anymore.

I don't really mind, maybe it would effect my view on you slightly, but I have mature block on so I wouldn't know anyway lol
If I judged you that would make me a hypocrite cause I've done a few yiff drawings myself xD
