ok friend listen up since you ask for Ideas and help here is some input
if you look at this line art I made you could study briefly the figure and mildly learn to do clean line art

then afterwards you could try coloring it with color pencils or whichever you do color with and then go about shading it by thinking where you want the light source to be coming from and creating the light source in either corner be it front or back or even above

you did a great job on it but was surprised at the color scheme you used (not that I mind tho) you still did not produce a light source for your shading and shine effects I pmd you my original finished and another that a friend did for me too for you to study what I'm talking about

yes a light source gives the picture an effect if you are going to add shadows and shine on a picture it's a sense of realism
