This toy is a lot of fun... a buddy of mine and I in Portland are loving mine to death. Though, I don't know if I could do the Ebay prices for a replacement...
I'm still upset that I can't just buy one from you guys. It makes me sad that people are forced to bid on them. You lose customers when you won't sell to them; money is money. >_<
This is a low-volume business model -- there aren't enough customers to do huge runs or hold thousands of pieces of inventory, which would allow post-production sales that are common with consumer-grade pool toys. The best thing to do is watch the current guys like a hawk and try to get in on pre-orders.
We hold pre-orders for this reason. We sell the toys to customers at a price that is almost it's cost to us (ie, very little mark up). We use eBay to make profit, if any. We list each wolf at $1 and it is not our fault that people love them so much that they bid so much for them. The quality of the item speaks for itself, I guess.
If you can't do the eBay thing, well, chances are we might make another run of wolves, if there is enough demand. But, for right now, we're not planning on doing this in the immediate near future.
I know right. That's why i'z gonna get teh Merek Wolf . By the way, I gots a summer job at home that gonna pay 180 bucks per week. :3 .... For four weeks X3. Woo Hoo. 7 foot wolf here I come.

i like inflatables but there's no way the toys are worth $1k+...
i'll stick to pre-ordering where possible >.>
