Anyway! I have recently been getting into some new art software: Daz Studio, a 3D program that lets you make some pretty sweet renders, and Manga Studio, which is good for drawing (as the name implies) manga and comic art, but also seems pretty useful for inking/shading existing pictures as well.
The results of the former will probably be posted over on my dA in the main (though I do have some content for Daz that could definitely be considered furry), whereas the latter will likely help with my endeavours to do some digital colouring -- sorry I'm taking so long, folks! -- and hopefully towards some original art too.
I'm learning some other 3D software as well -- primarily Blender -- along with continuing to explore Second Life (both actual locations/events and in terms of creativity), where I've recently become a paid member and got a house; I've also managed to get my partner to join me on there, where he's finding it an interesting experience.
Work with Photoshop has been on the back burner, as has music, but I've not abandoned those projects by any means. On the other hand, my photography is likely to be reinvigorated by my recent purchase of a new digital camera: a Fujifilm Finepix S2950. (I'm selling my previous model, a S5700, if anyone's interested.) I'm also planning to do some film photography, though I may need to scour ebay for a reasonably priced light meter before doing so.
As I mentioned in my last journal, I'm considering taking on commission work as well as looking for more collaboration partners, so if anyone's interested on that front, please get in touch. :3
