Overreacted? Hardly. I was informing the poster about why he was obviously so wrong about what he said. It made me angry because the commissioner was such a nice guy and he did such a good job on his work. I didn't want him to see anything negative about his work! What if he had seen that comment? It's SO rude... maybe your "friend" should have thought about other peoples feelings before posting negative comments on peoples journal...especially people who he doesn't even know!

If anything your apparent friend has learned something from this. And for that

Well, I can understand why some people out there might be skeptical, to be fair I didn't have to change a lot for your icon because you have a fairly simple fursona. But I can certainly say, a few people's I've worked into the night trying to get the finer detail right, and all for just £3 which to be honest buys you nothing. Not on FA anyway. So yes, a little insulting to have comments like "mspaint bucket", but I guess it's not like they came to my page and said it. I tell you, that shithole 4chan has a lot to answer for. If I ever see the phrase "umad bro" one more time, I swear I'm going on the rampage.
Anyway, far from putting me off, these things have really taken off recently, I just had one guy order four in one go! Thanks very much for being one of my original customers, you helped start it all off. :D

It really doesn't matter.. it's your design that you own and you had to take the time to edit and redo the design so you should be paid for your time. I just don't think the people on this thread... having very little (if any) art (or real icons) of their fursona's understand the time and work an artist puts into it. I mean really.. half of them got their icons off Google images haha.

I think it's really awesome it went off so well. I saw you did some for some pretty popular artists and that really shows the quality of your work as well. I'm so glad I convinced you to offer these as commissions xD.
