Commission FAQ

*raises hand* it's way too far even if I wasn't broke, hope those of you who are going have a good time though!

Anyway... for those still waiting on sketch commissions, I've got everybody's rough sketches done and I'll be refining and coloring them in the next couple of days. so, I should be open again by Friday with some digital badge spots in addition to the usual stuff. Due to some unexpected things coming up I need to raise a certain amount by the end of this month. Part of me kind of wants to open ~*emergency commissions*~ this moment, but I don't feel it would be right to do that before the current sketches are totally done. So right now I'm just giving a heads-up that I'll be finished very soon.

I can't either ^^;; I am living in Sweden and frankly, there is wayyyy too much stuff that needs to be fixed right at the AC (table bookings, room/roomates, hotel) etc etc and my brain just can't cope with that xD I'd LOVE to go some time.. but it's just too far away and also too expensive..

Plane tickets alone from here and back are about 500 bucks. That and hotel/con costs .. ?
Don't think so, lol.
Planned to originally, but it's just too expensive.

I only live a couple hours away from it. I went two years ago though and frankly didn't much enjoy myself. It felt like it was too small a con inside too big a convention center.

I'll probably just stick to my anime conventions for awhile.

I'm staying home this year as well (couldn't make it last year). I need to be able to afford to go, and moreover, I need more merch to try to sell. As it stands, I only either do commissions or tattoos while there. I'd like to have some stuff like folios and such to offer.

I briefly considered it...but couldn't find room space and wasn't sure I was up for the craziness of AA. Any folios / samples / prints I still have are super old...and I don't even really know many people in the fandom anymore!

I am not going. It's way to expensive to get there from California to justify the work it would take to make it back. I didn't feel like spending lots of money to get there and stay there, working my butt off just to break even and have the "joy" of working off a working vacation I likely wouldn't get to enjoy past the con weekend anyways XD

Me neither! Would be fun to go, but I decided to attend other cons instead. AC's hugeness is a bit intimidating for me (even though FC is my favorite con). Working a real life job that pays on commission doesn't give me any vacation days, so I have to choose wisely when I take one X3

Throw me into the Ringer, I'm not doing Anthrocon; would have to had Reg.'d and gotten my plans together MONTHS ago ^^; Going to Anime Expo here in Southern CA next weekend AND have a Missionary Trip to Costa Rica about a week and a half later.
