Raccoon update v6.25 patch notes~!

So a number of things are going on in my life right now, and I feel I should discuss them because this is my journal and this is where you put things like this~! Also it's my second coffee break at work and I have nothing else to do, so this works. l3~
So the first order of business that's of most relevance to anyone here is my permanent change to working straight midnight shift. From here on in, I'll be working 11:00pm to 7:00am MST every week, most likely working Monday through Saturday. (Well, Sunday through Friday technically, but you know. l3) I may have the opportunity in future to change to something else, but that's a long time down the road and there are a lot of reasons outside of my control that will likely keep me here for some time. However, as a result, that means I will be on during the afternoon hours most often, so really I should have more of a chance of hanging out with cool people more regularly~ <3
Second would be that in a couple short days, I'll be heading over to Ottawa for a week to hang out with
ixyao and celebrate Canada Day~! Rest assured, much relaxation will be had -- been busting my ass of this last two weeks, and look forward to both checking out historic monuments, local attractions, amazing restaurants -- and idly dicking around doing nothing all the same. l3
Ummumm~ Recently been playing some more Audiosurf, remembering just how damn much I love that game -- I stopped playing it a lot back when they gimped Pointman Elite, but decided to man the fuck up and get good again if I want to compete~! And in such a vein,
psychoninetales recommended a game called Rhythm Zone (http://www.rhythmzonegame.com/) to me that I recently checked out, and I'm really liking it a lot. <3 It's like Audiosurf styled like Rock Band, where you upload your own songs and it generates a chart of notes, and it even has an Overdrive knock-off. l3 At first I was skeptical, as a lot of the videos made it seem like the notes had little correlation to the song at best, and totally irrelevant at worst -- but essentially, it charts notes based on whatever instrument is most profound at that point in the song. So some work better than others (I found that piano solos come out freaking amazing, by the by~!) I dunno, I've been having a lot of fun with it, some of you might too. <3

We both suck
I know once I got used to it, I was surprised to discover I really rather liked it! It'll be even better once I'm moved and no longer trying to go to bed while other roommates are waking up and showering and stuff. :3
Also, saying "Have a great Friday!" to the day-shifters, on the way out for the week as they're just waddling in, is awesome. XD lol
The only real problem with it is that I have a hard time waking up in the afternoon. Normally I'd have to wake up and go to work, couldn't oversleep -- but on midnights, I go to bed when I get home, and try and wake up around 3 or 4 -- but since I don't haaaave to wake up, I often oversleep and waste a bunch of my life sleeping. x3 And as for saying "happy Friday" to the day-shifters, they can say "happy working six days all the time" rit back when they see me the following night. (Where I work, the schedule always gets pushed back so midnights has to work 6 days instead of 5.) l3~
I'm not at liberty to provide too many details due to my business's social media policy, but I'll just say I work for a Fortune 500 snack food company, on the factory floor -- I operate, clean, maintain, and otherwise upkeep machinery that applies seasonings to various snack food products. l3~~
Yoo work for seeecret company of dooom! D: Yay seasonings. =) I bet it smells nicer than the chemicals I work with..hehe

Sometimes I'm so busy that the people that live with me don't even see me very much. x3
X3; It's a shame late nights aren't yours to use as you please anymore Coonybutt, but at least you've got the afternoons. Maybe this'll be a change of pace that'll benefit somehow. *shrug* I'm not good at that optimism thing X3;
