Thoughts on incomplete chapters?

I've done a tiny bit of writing this week, on To Sing a Silent Song. I finished another four pages or so of Chapter One. Although I did post a teaser, I hadn't originally meant to post any more until Chapter One was finished. But I dunno, I have this writing here, and I haven't posted anything in ages. Would you guys rather I wait until it's actually to a good stopping point, or would you rather read what I've got as I get it?
Admittedly, I wouldn't be enthusiastic about checking back with a writer who updated a work in progress every time a new paragraph was added...but there's something to be said about updating regularly, keeping people engaged. If too much time elapses between parts of a connected story, people tend to forget who is who and why they should care (unless all the parts are stand-alone stories, self-contained unto themselves).
I would say the minimum length of post should be around 5-6k. Anything shorter, I prob wouldn;t read...but thats just me.
