Gamification
I stumbled across this video that I thought was especially interesting considering my field of learning. If you're into games, you've probably heard about this before, but description of this isn't just about making everything fun. It's mostly about using rewards to keep people loyal and interested in a business.
It's a looong video, but I stuck to watching the whole things because I found it really interesting. It makes a lot of sense. Just thought I'd share.
Maybe you folks are interested in working with games and social interaction, but are too wary about trying to get into the gaming market because of the competition. This could really be a big opportunity in the near future to work with game elements, but in other business settings.

Gamification has a light and a dark side. The light side is that it means learning and working can be made fun again. The dark side is the production of games which are designed to be addictive.
