When you fall off the horse....

Folks tell you to get back on.
Hozz just whines and says I wasn't done.
But that's a whole different story.
I know my last journal was a little abysmal. But yanno, ranting it out helped my mood. That day I went from waking up in the morning, lying in bed and staring at the ceiling listlessly all giveded up.
Then I got tired of it and started job hunting.
I found a couple places to get interviews at and they appear better than my current vocation at this point. This pleases me.
The only thing I feel hangs in the balance for the interview I had wednesday is whether or not my speeding ticket was two or three years ago. If it's three years ago I'm good, no worries, no sweat, I got the opening full time position, hopefully. I hear from the feller on Wednesday.
My position at Dunkin feels pointless because I'm only making about a $100 a week after taxes and gas money spent in getting there. But I'll keep going because it'll look bad to potential employers if I don't.
I got a lead to what would be a dream job but I'm not going to talk alot about it because I don't want to jinx that avenue.
I'm glad I've got the weekend off since I had asked for it off for AC, or Amtgard kingdom events, or Origins, all of which I don't get to do, but I have fenagled around and will hopefully get to go back to Podunkville and see my folks tommarrow. I haven't seen them in like 6 months. So yay for all this!
Also, I am a kitchen GOD.
I was given the mission to make a fancy shmancy awesomely purdiful birthday cake from scratch, including the trip to the store and icing it in 3 hours.
I got that shit done in two hours and fourty minutes.
I am awesome.
And everyone thought I had went and bought it out of a show case at the highest class bakery in the area. I felt like the bomb.
I want my own cake shop. x.x
So bad.

Good luck to ya
And start walking.
Now, maybe vehicular homicide..... different story.
Still working more than three PT jobs and would LOVE just one full-time.
Put out applications to three positions I could fill easily (including one at a facility I currently work PT at). Sadly this is the one that just sent me the proverbial "Dear John" letter of rejection.
And frankly this tick's me off, because (1) I've been their aux-Staff for 3 plus years now; (2) Never one complaint about the quality of my work; (3) and it's been the fourth time I've applied for anything in that company and been rejected out-of-hand. And I have all the credentials (literally) to prove I'm qualified!
So, back to PT and still looking for full time - but, this one employer's now on my S*** list.
Anyway, hope you have much better good fortune than me Sarcy. Better still, I hope you get your wish for your own place!
