WHO'S GOING TO FC NEXT YEAR? READ!
I was recently asked to be part of a panel at next year's Further Confusion! If anyone is planning to attend, check out the below information! I'd love to be able to see and talk to any of my watchers, I rarely get a chance to do so :3
This is a copypasta of
daskruff 's journal entry - if you have any questions or comments let me know!
Would you show up for it? And, what do ya'll want to hear about?
I've contacted a few others to run the panel with me, as I probably don't have a good amount of information to keep people entertained terribly long; accordingly, the other prospective members are as follows:
grapefruitbat
screamfox
nyghtwolf
I think it'd be a pretty bad ass panel if all those end up involved, but it still begs the question, of what would ya'll want to hear from us?
Some rough ideas that have been tossed around:
Digital Music Composition: Each of us write different genres of music, use different software and have different ways of composing. I feel like between all of us we have a decent amount of information that could help others out with the learning process.
In-depth panel: A panel that would focus very intently on some aspect of music, such as music theory, how to use a particular DAW, mixing or engineering, whatever people were most interested in.
Straight Q&A: The audience would pretty well lead the panel this way, and people could get the specific information they were looking for out of us. Granted, this would probably only be entertaining if there was a sizable audience. :D
Comment, direct people to this journal, advertise, do whatever. The more answers we get, the better chance we have of giving you an interesting panel. Lookin' forward to see how people feel about it. :D

You gonna be there for sure?
I'm going to be there, and more specifically, going to be at this panel. :) Can't wait to see it! I'd love to hear about your mixing techniques and technology used for home-based recording.
Make sure to find me at the con otherwise!
