What's my problem with western comics?

[20:53] <Kitetsu> actually i have to be honest, i pick on western comics far more than anime [and manga], which i'll acknowledge has its own fair share of shit, because with western comics, this is all i see http://fortressofortitude.files.wor.....w-deadpool.jpg
[20:55] <Kitetsu> my personal philosophy with action is to... you know, translate motion into a sequence of pictures, dynamic if you can. Not draw a single fucking giant panel and cram a bunch of speech bubbles like that picture there.

FA+

I like comics, even though I rarely read them, but even so, I appreciate the thing as a whole. But even if that's the case, western comics are just so bland some times.
If I were to compare like... the most action packed Marvel comic with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure... well then again I'm kinda biased, so whatever lol.
What's -really- annoying about Western comics is the fact they never end.
The One More Day deal with Mephisto that was pointed out by Deadpool there erased DECADES of storyline. It's bad enough the stories go on that long, but then everything you red being erased so quickly. It's just editorial mandates and marketability.
With manga, it's more about a good story. They don't get popular unless they're actually good.
With comics, it's ALL about money, and very rarely are the stories actually well written.
...maybe I should just CHILL.
