it was probably a virus. i got something like that from something claiming to be Blizzard. friends said it was fake

heheh well it didnt say it was from a random person just said irs services so I was not sure if its real or not and like...i did my taxes so I thought it didnt go through well u know idk

yeah thats what I said, and I called them but did the automated person and they didnt say that there was a problem, and that they sent my refund, but it looks way to legit to not say something to them

hmmm, had something much like this happen b4. except it was from a pop up. kept firefox from working. it was the Vista Security 2011 virus. thankfully a friend on skype helped me. dunno if the directions will help you but i can note them to you.

hehe well it was saying that I didnt send in some information and I needed to send it in so im not sure if it was right b/c i did do my taxes and I thought that they have to approve it to get your money and if they dont they send u something about it so i was not sure... so maybe I'll call to find out

If you get an .exe or .scr file in your email, never run it, no matter what the email claims it to be.

Lately, especially for hotmail users, you can actually somehow display a different adress then what you mail it from, it's the latest for spam and scam techniques, usually if they have an attachment, even if it's a service you know, unless you gave the order for it, don't do anything with it but delete it.

I've been getting a lot of junk claiming to be from the FBI, but I honestly doubt that the FBI would put the persons name and the subject line entirely in caps. If that doesn't scream fake, I don't know what does.
