why is it im no longer excited about birthdays like i was when i was a kid?

no idea, but I'm the same way. I have mine in a almost 2 months and its like "meh."

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY! I stopped getting excited after I spent my last 3 birthdays home alone. -shrug- There becomes less and less to celebrate I guess.

i got less excited 2 years ago when my birthday was the same day as the funeral of a childhood friend i grew up with and his mom and at the funeral getting a call that my other friend was hit by a car 8|
