Yes, they should know, but young people have so little life experience (because they're young) they don't know these things instinctively.

Sometimes it's hard to understand why someone doesn't know something that's really obvious to you, but they'll never know what they've never been taught, and that's where us oldies come in :o)

If you see someone's art and want to try a hand at inking/coloring it for practice? Fine, but don't post it as your work without permission first.

Twice this week I have seen something like that. Makes me a sad kitty. =/

But anyway, you should report him for altering your art without permission.

I don`t like make that stuff, I tell to the owners, maybe its a Mistake or an Inocent error, I do not want think badly of anyone

Wow. Its very rude and its wrong to ink and or color someones work without there permission. I do ink and color others work but "with" their permission. And I always ask before I go and post it. Plus I always include a link to the original piece. If they don't want me to color it then so be it. I leave it at that.

Thats the Problem, No ask, No Links, No credit to the Original owner of the Characters.
I Really like when my fans want help me and color or ink my pics, Normaly I`m glad about that, But commissions are not my characters and I can not give my permission for them

I suck at coloring until my personal paint program is finished being made on commission, so you won't see me stealing any art and coloring it and posting it and saying that you drewzor it.
