Broken Earth Projected song list!
So, like my first RPG soundtrack, I'm trying to outline the general themes for the songs I plan on writing. I've got it separated into three categories, and writing it down makes me realize how massive this project has the potential to get. Some of theme have already been done, as you know, but this is what I got so far. It's not complete, so bear that in mind. :) Animist pieces will have your more traditional RPG style music, lush strings, horns, woodwinds, etc. Machinist side pieces will feature more of a grungy, electro-pop sound while still maintaining some of those traditional styles. Think Infected Mushroom layered over orchestral stuff.

I think the concepts presented above could lead to a pretty deep RPG (maybe even series, a la Golden Sun). Something that could add either a point of conflict OR a significant plot twist, would be either a region of this world where the magic and steampunk overlap, OR a small, isolated area (modest-sized island nation, perhaps) where magic and steampunk have been integrated.
