when does it become a "breach of policy" to help?

Kickin' ass for 30 years and growing..
I lost my job today..
...I lost it because I helped out a dieing little french girl from dieing. I don't know if she would've died if I didn't help her but she was having a seizure and no one else was helping her.
I guess in this day and age...it's bad to have a heart for fellow man. I hate myself...I really do..but I don't know now if I did the right thing by helping..
Truely depressed,

IMMA POP A CAP IN YO ASS!
Also my wife dealt with this same problem too when she was working with me at the theater. A man started having a seizure and my boss started freaking out when she was helping out the man's wife.
People are ridiculous. But, y'know what this was about right? Liability issues. Because if you touched the kid while she was dying and she died while you were trying to help her, the company would see you as a liability and they probably fired you to reduce the risk of being sued. If I were you I'd challenge this, but then again I just like fighting. :P
Still a corrupt capitalist nation we're in. But at least it's home.
Why would I do that? If none of MY Co-workers helped out and defended me from losing my job over something like that, then they would suffer the same then. I could care less about them, I'd be more worried and care more about the little girl if I was in control of that situation. Not only would they be out of jobs, but maybe it'd teach them to have a heart and learn to defend their co-workers.
That's just me though. If no one respects me, I'll still respect them still, till they fuck up.
