Crying isn't for the weak, Honey. A strong person can cry and not be ashamed. Everyone hurts at times, we ALL go through it. *hugs* I'm glad this loser is out of your life. I find it really hard to see, when I keep getting bashed by the one person I thought would actually help me...
Honey, trust me on this, in life you'll come across LOTS of people who appear to be your friends, but you'll learn in one way or another, that they're just people who exist for a moment in your life. Friends, REAL friends are fewer a farther in between than people who are just acquaintances. You'll see. The friends who are really for you are there for you when times are good and when they're bad. If this ONE person isn't helping you through your rough times in any way, then they're not really your friend and the best thing is to just move on. You'll come across people who actually care about and love you. This person may not fall into that category, but there are others in the world who will *hugs* Above all things, though, don't place your self worth in the eyes of someone else. Know that you're amazing and believe it. Be your own biggest fan and encourage yourself when no one else is up for the task.

When the person who hurts you the most is your own mother, the only thing you can do is distance yourself from their afflicting ways. Whether it's physically or mentally, you have to remove yourself from destructive people or suffer from their destroying means. A mother is supposed to love her child and protect them from the terrible things in the world. I don't know your mother neither do I understand the situation fully. But, what I do know is that beautiful people are beautiful and strong because they believe that they are. They don't put their hope, life, love and self-worth in the belly of someone else's heart. If that person betrays or, otherwise withdraws their heart away from you, then they'll take along with them your sense of self as well. You have to build yourself within yourself, because you're the only person who will ever understand how truly unique you are. You're the only one who you should always depend on being a supporter of you. Even when there's no one left, you have to be able to tell yourself that you are amazing and deserve all the blessings that are due you.
