General
Did you ever see the frightened ones?
Did you ever hear the falling bombs?
Did you ever hear the falling bombs?
Now that I have sufficient time to type up an AC journal, I shall.
To begin,
Kitsukyo flew into Birmingham Int'l and I picked him up from there. He got a rental car for the 13 hour drive to Pittsburgh and we left the afternoon of Tuesday on our long trek.
It was the early hours of Wednesday and Kit and I could not stay awake any longer. We stopped in Corbin Kentucky and rested.
The Voyage began again after we checked out and mid afternoon Wednesday we arrived in Pittsburgh. The hotel he had booked through Orbitz looked like it had seen better days. Half the room was torched, and we decided to find a different place to lay our heads. This was a real trial as every hotel was booked full Saturday for both AC and the Red Sox game, but we finally found a way and relaxed with awesome Pizza from Fox's Den.
Thursday we set forth for the DLCC. May I say, Pittsburgh's roads are the Pitts. After a spontaneous jump over 3 lanes of traffic right at our exit, both onto and off Fort Pitt Bridge. we found ourselves under the massive curved glass of the DLCC. We registered and got our Badges....
