Went to Anime Expo 2K11 after all....

The thing is, I spent the weekend at my friend's dad's place with him Saturday. Spent the night, a couple of his friends who are awesome, one who has the unfortunate luck of living/moving to Vegas (But having a good paying job it seems.) came over to crash at his place as well. We had quite a bit of fun.
We saw the Transformers movie around 12:01am Sunday morning (Got in around 1215 and the movie started around 1230. Around 230-300am, we got out. Went to jack in the box, got some food, ate it, played some Duke NUkem forever on the PS3 I brought along.
The next morning, it seemed we were going to go to Anime Expo after all.
I made the mistake of getting a Genral Admission, thinking I would have time to go around and do more stuff so spent $50, when I could/should have spent the $25 for the dealer room only. >_<
Needless to say, I got a fes statue thingies, this one really kickass looking figure thingy, where the art is done by a Japanese artist known as "Blade". It is like some girl who has pseudo mech type armor parts which make her look like some cybernetic catgirl or something. ^_^
That was around 20-25 dollars or so. Next, I had gotten this Lucky Star statue of that pink haired girl, with glasses and large breasts in a bright red bunny suit. That ran me $15 I got another tiny little statue of some girl in some Gym outfit for like, $% at the same place.
Got a Manga by The Amanoja9 who does some (in my opinion) really sexy and awesome shemale related art) that was around $15 I think also.
I then looked around the artist Gallery, ran into who I believe is named Steve Martin who had some really neat furry art. Got one of his Art Cd's. Unfortunatly, I just tried it at home and unfortunatly, it seems a mistake was made, as the disk is blank. >_< Gonna have to contact him to see about getting a replacement. Got a free print of something for that purchase. Part of it was due to the fact at that time, I didn't have much money left so I traded him the Lucky star bunny girl Plus a little extra $$$ for the CD.
Walked around a bit more, went to the PMX booth, filled out a survey, played this game where you turn this thing and a ball drops out. I won a free t_shirt from it as most balls are white and mine was black.
After that, I borrowed $10 from a friend to rebuy the statue I had traded. Went to the ATM there, was waiting in line. My friend was going to sit in the chair when I noticed some books lying underneath. Noone had even been around them at all which I found a bit odd. There were 3 books there. 2 which I am assuming have something to do with Buudhism or something, and the other which looks to be some type of Cookbook dome in partial manga form with some really yummy looking stuff I may try soon here. ^_^ The thing is, when I found the books, the Dealer Room was about to cloe, like with one-3 minutes to go. Nearest bathroom quite a ways away. No one seemed to claim it, so it seems that I found somethingpossibly abandoned or something. Part of me feels bad that whoever it was that they were no longer has them, but at the same time, maybe I should not feel bad if noone was around to claim them either. Hmmm.....
Anywho, at friends dad's house to spend the night, mom will pick me up, drop me off home and then back to Parents house for BBQing for/with them and maybe some fireworks. ^_^
I hope everyone else has had a good weekend and does not get hurt if you do firewroks, be they the legal or non legal kind. ^_^
