So my current condition hasn't worsened much but it hasn't improved either. My sense of touch on my left side is pretty much still switched off, making things like typing and writing very difficult. The new treatments aren't so bad, I tolerate them pretty well considering. It's not a walk in the park but I do see what other people go through while I'm getting my biweekly concoction, and it could be worse. My last treatment was delayed a week owing to the fact that I had a huge bruise on my side from a nasty fall, thanks to a lack of feeling in my left foot. The treatment inhibits new blood vessels from developing, so things like cuts and bruises can be a big problem. This puts paint ball to rest, as a welt from a shot could lead to a bruise or worse yet a clot, and that's serious. of course I still play video games, but with no sense of touch in my left hand that too is hindered.
I wish I could draw, I get ideas and I have to forget about it. It's just not going to happen any time soon. I mean even typing this took ages.

Anyway, l want to make it a point to tell all reading this something important. Don't take anything for granted. There is so much in life that you have and you'd miss it terribly if it were gone. So much. Walking, seeing, everything, if you have it, cherish it. In the words of the immortal Mame: Life is a banquet and most poor fuckers are starving to death.
