Why I have not been writing.

So, I figure I owe something to really explain why I have not really been writing. It goes a little more than just writers block and real life.
First off, I have a real job. It's part time and it's a temp position, but it demands a lot out of me and the pay is not bad. I'm usually working four days a week at 10 hour shifts, so, I work pretty hard. And I'm planning to get another part time job to help pay the bills at my house, since our family is flat out broke.
Second, I have really been lacking an editor for some time, now, which means I have to really double check my own work and ignore the POS that is Microsoft Office's spell and Grammar checker.
Third, and probably the biggest reason, my laptop is falling apart. I have a Dell Inspiron E1505, and when I got it, it wasn't bad. But now, not so much. It runs windows Vista, the laptop can no longer detect the battery, meaning it has to be plugged in, the power cable's wiring is damaged, so now it has to be bent in such a way to get power, several of the keyboards keys have popped of, some of the keys jam, my internet connection is shoddy at best, and I'm running out of space of my hard drive. This makes for a bad computer to write stories, and I think it may be why I've been getting a severe case of writers block.
I think if I can manage to save up my money, I can get a new one that will be more suitable and maybe even have windows 7, because I have been hearing good things about it. until then, I politely ask the 5+ fans I do have to be patient and I will add more to my stories whenever opportunity presents itself. For now, I ask that they enjoy the outside world and also all the other artists here.
