I'm done with the state of Florida. This constant rain is killing me. I can't stand it. Just when my last set of clothes gets dry I get em soaked again. Even more fun is the idiots that drive around me, and my lack of traction. I laid down the KZ today. Good thing she's a resilient little bike. Was about 5-10 minutes from home, right in the midst of a monsoon. I saw traffic ahead was stopped, pulled the front, not slowing fast enough, pressed the rear OMG PAVEMENT. Slid for a good hundred feet. I was concerned my bike and I weren't going to stop before hitting the car in front of us, so I grabbed at it and dug my feet into the road. Stopped in time. My knee is a bit sore from where it caught my tank and saved it from a nice scratchy ride down the surface of Orange Ave. Other than the knee shaped dent and some minor scratches on already trashed surfaces, no damage noticed. I'll need to check later when its less wet out.
