Future art, feel free to recommend!

Well! I have been lurking and buying commissions here for several months now. Soo.... I have decided to finally start drawing after almost a decade since I last did any serious practice. -_-
Expect some sketches in the coming weeks. I hope to have a good few dozen uploads of my own in the 'scraps' folder. My goal is to get some of the rust shaken off and to suck less than complete crap. To help me out with that an get my butt in gear, I am looking for recommendations/requests! Nothing big or crazy, just ideas of what to draw. I will pick and choose and try to get in a drawing a day. Don't be surprised if I only draw what I like. =p
When I reach 5k hits, I will open the floor to some free sketches. The difference is that these sketches will be like commissions: X amount of slots, you choose what you want to see. This will give me deadlines and get me used to drawing things out of my comfort zone.
On a side note. What do you guys think about me posting non-furry stuff here? Skeletons, musculature, poses, backgrounds, people I see, architecture, fantasy designs, and all that junk. If you would rather no see it, I will post it all to deviantart instead. ^^

Hehe, I was so into the idea of drawing other things I never really thought about drawing my own characters. =p I should to at least do an initial drawing of them now and again later on to see how much I improve. I will draw each of my characters once for the first week, then stay away from them for a while as I practice other stuff.

My convention schedule is pretty crappy this year. Going to Nebraskon in November and then Nakakon and AnimeCentral next year. Don't know furry conventions enough to want to go to any just yet.
As for the spiked. I like the one he was drawing a lot. Dunno if I want to do it to any of my characters, but still awesome to behold. =3
As for non-furry art, I don't ever tend to think it's a bad thing. I'll be completely honest though, when I'm busy with work and I don't have much time to browse/comment, I tend to overlook non-furry stuff unless the thumbnail catches my eye. I doubt that reflects the majority of watchers though. :3
