When drawing a character and putting them in to certain scenarios,
it always helps to know them,
right?
Well this is what this is about.
Also, if anyone else has any questions for Lilith,
or any other of my characters,
just feel free to send me a note asking your question,

+ You're quite the interesting little creature, aren't you? +
"Me… well… yes…
There aren't very many of my kind… so everyone's a little curious…
I'm a Jackalope, but I guess it's a little obvious, isn't it?"
*Alayna reaches for and touches her antlers and ears gently*
+ Just a little bit. Do you find it a little difficult interacting with humans? +
"Not really… People always stare, though… or they always try to touch,
and I don't really like that, you know?
A stranger being in my personal space kind of makes me uneasy…"
+ You're not very fuzzy, though. So I guess you wouldn't count as a furry, or an anthro. +
"No, I guess I wouldn't…
My skin's a mystery to me, though.
It's soft, like a bunny, but there's no fur.
People always want to touch my arms and stuff, too…"
+ Well you can't really blame them for not wanting to touch. You're rather pretty, Alayna. +
"*Alayna gives a soft laugh and a soft shade of pink spreads on her cheeks*

+ How would you describe your physical appearance? +
"Well I don't think very highly of myself, but I guess I have a nice body.
I'm very short, but not very petite. I'm very curvy, and my legs are pretty muscular.
I guess that's what happens when you have rabbit blood?
My breasts are… well… lets just say I need a rally good bra if I want to go for a run.
They're a little on the larger size. A 'D', at least…
*Alayna blushes and freeze a little*
Oh my! Why did I just say that? I'm sorry, I'm so embarrassed!
Um… um… moving on…
I have big, violet eyes that I really enjoy.
I don't see a lot of people with purple irises, even purple contact lenses are uncommon, so I consider myself lucky.
My hair is a light brown, but it's white near the top of my head.
My skin is also all white.
Even more so than an Albino man I once met."
+ What's your current relationship status? +
"Well… right now I'm single…
I'm not really looking for anyone right now.
I don't even do one-night-stands...
I'm holding out for someone that I can really connect with and be comfortable around.
I'm waiting for someone who I can feel 100% safe around…"
+ Right. So, how do you like your relationships, then? +
"One-on-one, I don't like it any other way.
The idea of sharing a man...
It makes my stomach hurt...
I have a hard time trusting people, and I don't like having a lot of drama in my life.
I don't think my body could handle it..."
+ What kind of men are you attracted to? +
"*Alayna looks at me blankly, and then blinks a few times*
That… that's a good question. I'm not really sure, actually.
I haven't had very many partners, but I guess the most common thing between all of them is that they had a nice smile, they were strong without being very muscular, and they made me feel safe when they held me..."
+ What about the kinds of guys that turn you off? +
"I guess when guys try too hard it's a bit of a turn off.
I would rather have a guy become friends with me, without having an interest in me, and then grow feelings for me.
I think that's better because I don't feel like I'm being hunted the whole time, you know? "
+ …What about girls? Are you interested in girls? +
"I don't mind cuddling with my girl friends… but I could never imagine… you know… doing… stuff… with them…"
+ What's your current occupation?
"Right now I'm a secretary at a company that handles special law cases.
Mostly involved with paranormal things… it confuses me a little.
I just answer phones, forward calls, make coffee, keep the office tidy and schedule appointments.
I try not to be nosy and get in to cases too much because I wouldn't know what I was doing if I tried..."
+ I bet you make the best coffee ever. +
"*Alayna laughs softly and nods her head*
I try to remember what everyone likes. I have a little cheat sheet I use to help me out."
+ What do you like to wear? +
"Well when I'm at the office I wear nice clothes. Skirts, heels, dress shirts.
I try to look nice, even if no one comes in to the office, because I like to look presentable and professional.
When I'm at home, though, I like to lounge around in frumpy shirts and comfy shorts..."
+ What about when you go out with friends? +
"Well when we go out, it's usually for supper right after my shift at the office, so I'm usually in my business attire.
If we go out for some drinks, though, my girls always make me dress a little… revealing.
In my shortest skirt or dress, or with my most tightest, slinky shirt.
I feel a little awkward, especially when some guy tries to pick me up."
+ What are your favourite pastimes? +
"Well… I like to document all the things that go on in my life, because I like to treasure everything that's memorable, so I do scrap books in my spare time.
Also, when fall comes around, I knit scarves for people at the office so when winter arrives they have a new one to show off.
*Alayna looks around a little nervously now*
Oh… now I sound like an old lady…

+ No you don't. At least you're thinking of your friends when you do scrapbooks and knit. That shows a kind heart, and people like that. +

"Not really, no.
I don't like getting hurt, so I try to stay away from most sports, but I do stay active by running and jogging and doing yoga…"
+ Everyone gets hungry after a good work out. What's your favourite food? +
"I'm vegetarian, with the exception of milk and eggs, so there's not a lot for me to choose from…
but I would have to say Mushroom Egg Foo Young is my favourite.
Eating meat makes me feel a little nauseous."
+ What do you think your strongest positive personality trait? +
"I guess my best personality trait would be I'm a hard worker?
I don't like leaving any job unfinished… it really irks me…
that's usually why I stay late at the office..."
+ What's your most negative personality trait? +
"My most negative personality trait would be my nervousness.
My fear of people.
I try to over come it as much as possible, but it still proves difficult for me."
+ How often does your temper flare? +
"Not very often, if ever.
I try to keep my heated opinions to myself so I don't cause conflict…"
+ So what happens when you decide to voice those opinions? +
"Not much, I get flustered, stutter over my words, and don't make much sense.
That's why I try to keep quiet about it.
I'd rather not say anything than look like a fool."
+ How do you treat other people? +
"No matter how awful someone treats me, I am always nice to them.
Awful people are the ones who need kindness the most…
Even though they don't deserve it…"
+ How do you think other people see you? +
"I'm pretty sure everyone sees me as a shy little wall flower.
I'm also fairly sure no one hates me…
…or… at least I hope they don't…
Someone would have to have some pretty deep issues with their own self to hate someone who is nice to them all the time..."
+ Alayna, what is your philosophy of life? +
"I'm not sure I have one, to be honest.
I read somewhere that people who are born in the year of the rabbit are not going to get reborn…
that being a rabbit means it's your last chance to live life to it's fullest…
