Are you sure you got the stinger out? I've never had a bee sting that got that big. =/

A Yellow Jacket is a wasp. I didn't know they didn't leave venom sac until it happened. If I hadn't of lifted the pant material from my leg I would've been stung more than once. That wasp was serious business.

Bee... wasp... The slight difference doesn't matter much to me. They both sting. =P

Didn't do a damn thing. I walked down a hill is all. It got stomped though.

*eyes blink for a full minute* You are anything but a wuss Amethyst. That sting has got to hurt like hell! Hope you are using baking soda and water paste to sooth it and ice in a washcloth to combat the swelling. Seriousley 6 inches! That is way too big especially if your arm is starting to swell or you see streaks coming out from the area or significant discoloration, Take care of yourself and get yourself to the hospital right now~! You may be suffereing from an allergic reaction or another complication that needs to be taken care of right away. @_@

I went to the doctor today and I'm going to be taking a round of antihistamines and antibiotics. I've been using ice but I hate it now that it's gotten bigger because it stiffens it up making walking hard :C I don't think I'm super allergic as I can still breathe fine, don't have any hives and it's a localized annoyance at the moment.
