I hate job interviews
In the last couple weeks, i have been doing interviews. And because of the economy, I have been applying for jobs that are way out of what i know. I did apply for a few art jobs but only got one call back.
I can't begin to describle how much i hate doing interviews or preparing for them. On one of my days off i went shopping all day just to find something business like. In and out of dressing rooms and found maybe two outfits and paid $65 for them.
I hate going to interviews all dressed up out of my comfort zone. I get that i have to dress nice and look presentable. But then people tell you to be yourself. How can you be yourself when you feel ridiculous in these clothes and situation.
I applied for a photograph. I went out for my second interview. It seems like an awesome job. You make your own schedule, work a few hours, go around the county, dress in casual clothing, take pictures that mean something. But there is no insurance, benfits, vacation time, you have to determine how much to take out for taxes and you get paid based on how well you do in the field.
I decided to not take the job. i can't work with all this uncertainity.
Applied for some hospital jobs seeing as how i have 4 refs to help me get the job. I work an 8 hour shift for the week and weekends off. Problem is that me and my boyfriend's schedule wouldn't mesh. Only two things good about this job is i get insurance and its a sure thing. Hospital always needs people.
