On the subject of pricing one's commissions...

I am currently in the process of pricing my commissions one by one and organizing things so that I can set up my official commission price page. However I keep getting conflicted feelings as to how much I should price my work. I have icons, sketches, digital work and reference sheets just to name a few things and I just can't really decide how much to charge. How much is too much. And when am I undercharging.
The real pickle for me is when I do design work. Design is kinda nebulous. If asked to design a new character from scratch, how does one charge for it? Or if I'm tasked with the revamp of an existing character, does it receive the same treatment? Having come from a recently acquired design background, there are certain things I have to do before getting to a final design conclusion like doing research and exploration sketches. Thing is I'm just not sure how to factor the cost for things like that.
Any advice would be appreciated.

The fandom is really undercutting.
unless you draw insane fetish stuff!
So don't get discouraged, set your prices what you feel is fair, and stand by them!
