The truck is no longer in the picture
Well I had a run of bad luck on the pickup, but no worries, I got a ride real quick. I couldn't seem to get the last guy to find the title on the pickup, so I got my cash back from it, and today, I went out to look at a van I found on Craig's List. Well I ended up driving the van home, I have a picture posted about it, check it out, and yes, I got the title to the van on the spot.

OP
yeah, it was getting annoying, I was very angry when he failed time and time again to get me the title, but the van was from a different seller, and they where very organized, much more than the last guy, so I came home with the van, and am very happy

thats good

Awwwwwwwwwww

OP
yeah, but I at least got another Ford, and I have the same engine you have

E1/250 with a 300 I6? Good van.

OP
yup, like I said, she needs a tune up, but runs great, and I love the smell of the carb
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
Nice, and I'm assuming you mean 'cab' x3
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
no I can smell my exhaust inside the van, and it reeks of carburation, I love it
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
I think that's a leak bud
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
no, no leak, there's no pipe after the cat, I mean that seriously, all the exhaust pipe from the cat back is gone, including the muffler
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
So the exhaust is directly under the cab? That's good rofl
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
hey, you dun get the fumes when your rolling at 70 MPH, and at least she runs great
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
True, but at a light that aint good bro. $10 in exhaust pipe would fix that.
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
yeah, I'm just planning to place a muffler on the cat, and an L pipe on the muffler, pushing the exhaust out under the rear side doors, on the side of the van, I don't want a long pipe, just something short and sweet
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
Is it extremely loud?
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
I don't have a muffler, mine sounds like an old 12v Cummins
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
I think she might be a little loud for Kansas, but I do need to route the exhaust out from under the van though
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
Ahh, and yeah- definitely
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
like I said, I think a simple cheap muffler, and L pipe will do
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
Sounds like a plan :)
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
yeah, seeing as I can do all the work myself, I'm most likely looking at around $50 bucks, for the muffler, hangers, clamps, and the L pipe, it'll be exiting just below the right side rear doors, far enough away from the passenger door to avoid it coming in that window
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
Sounds about right. Cost me $30 even for mine. I have about 7' of pipe with a bendypipe, a rain cap, brackets, and Rustoleum Matt Black to coat it.
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
yeah, I see no reason to have the complete length of pipe when I'm missing most of it
BadlandCoyote
~badlandcoyote
Yeah, that'd be inefficient and pricey
TimberWolf460
~timberwolf460
OP
yup, my point exactly, why waste time, money, and resources when you can mount a proper shortie exhaust
