5000 pageviews and almost 300 watchers~ <3!
I feel le sexy. There are a million with five, ten, a hundred times as many as me, but they all began somewhere. <3
So yeah! Um. Stuff been going on.
Rock Band: We ordered this early from the States as it doesn't come out in Canada until the 20th of December or something equally ridiculous. But in any case, it's a pretty nifty experience, probably better if we had a more consistent number of multiple players -- the drums are pretty crazywhack. Strangely, it seems a lot more like Guitar Hero than Guitar Hero III did. I guess the change in developers truly did affect it~
I really want a rhythm game more attuned to my tastes in music, though. :/
Together Gettings: On Dec 15th and 16th respectively,

menos shall be coming to visit us! They'll serve as our other band members in Rock Band, you see. it's truly our secret-plan for inviting them back.) So it'll be like a super-mini fur-con. Grae-con. Yes. <3 (Good foodings and times shall be had by all!
Job Upgrade: Instead of just a menial floor-packer, I'm upgrading to being a Seasoner at work, so I might actually have some useful input into the creation of product. Not that that matters at all or anyone here cares -- I just felt like I should mention it for some reason. x3!
Artly Hiatus: I'll just come out and say that I don't really know when I'm ever gonna do anything, for anyone else or for me -- I can easilly see how actually significant super-talented artists can get so backed up with what they do and commission -- I'm just kinda... here, and I already feel behind with a couple requests and such. x3 Once I get off of midnight shift (which seems to sap my ability and creativity), I'll be seeing about what I can manage to draw, but henceforth I will make no promises as to what I'll draw for whom and in what order, just 'cause it's a commitment I likely won't act upon right now. x3 I just want a break from work~~~
Mourning: Agh prior to Sonic being announced, Brawl would have been out two days ago. Damnit all to hell. x3!
So yes, in conclusion I love you all and you make my pants happy. <3

And yeah, this is gonna be like teh best Christmas ever. CAVE CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISTMAAASSS...!!! We'll have cave cabbage, stone squash, and pebble peas. Graecon hm..? I just hope we won't have baby furs or something about as nasty, or any Stair Dragons. >>
They're games that offer a simulation on a level quite unlike any game I've ever played. No matter how real Gran Turismo HD can possibly be, it'll never make you really feel like you're driving a car -- but Guitar Hero (and even moreso, the drums on Rock band) truly give you the illusion that you're really playin' something. :3
It's probably that that has the largest appeal to it -- I'd entertained the idea of DDR before (as there's this new one out for the Wii) but while I like the music genre, the lack of sense in terms of actions vs. music doesn't have that lasting effect.
Oh, and I'm an Emo-Dependancy-Syndrome-Babyfur now btw.
I want SSBB now! D=<
Maybe it's because they had to translate it for us, I guess~
EH BUDDEH! THIS IS RAWK BAND BUDDEH! YOU CAN TOTALLY ROCK OUT WITH YOUR BEDDEHS, BUDDEH!
More accustomed to your liking in music??? Well rockband/guitar heros pretty much cover everything except rap...
there is at least one song from pretty much every genre... unless my genres are too bold... lol that could be it...
Though, I think those type of games should really get some international songs... like multi-languages... i'd like to see some japanese in those games... that'd be awesome!
But how are you liking Rock Band so far? It's definitely my favorite game for the 360 at the moment.
have ya gotten very far in it? I don't wanna ruin anything, so have fun with it ^.^!
Frankly I like Guitar Hero just because of it's gameplay, not really because I like the music genres at all. There are a few songs therein that I kinda like, many that are 'okay', and many that are merely tolerated. But all of those values are ruined by constantly having to hear them played over and over, I must say~ x3
Guitar Hero III had a few international songs, I think. I remember one French one and one German one at least~ (And that the French one was pretty ridiculous on your hand.)
Rock Band is quite the fun adventure, namely the drums (as it's something entirely new and different). I play it periodically but certainly not with the fervor I used to (mainly because I got a lot of things to be doing with my time, [and that I obtained SimCity 4 shortly before, maybe. x3]) It's an interesting game alright, and now that we'll have two more guests, that'll make a whole four of us so I guess we'll see how things go with four players :3~
The only thing I don't like is how World-Tour progress is hindered by difficulty. Shippo playson Expert Guitar, but I was doing Medium drums because it was my first time -- but I was forced to go into hard rather quickly so we could continue on with the tour, making my success rate about 60% now, to the point that I just switch to Bass periodically so we don't biff it a whole bunch. x3
Not sure why, but I don't exactly like a lot of the voices of the bands... I'd give a few examples but I know i'll probably offend someone.... ACDC sux.. xD
anyways... Yeah, I actually play guitar hero for the same reason, Yep there are also very few songs that I really enjoy, like on guitar hero 3, I probably like... Cliffs of Dover, Knights of Cyndonia, Monsters, F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X., Reptillia... and uh... Through the fire and flames, but I actually'd rather listen to Dragonforce as opposed to attempting to play them with a plastic guitar...
I think Avalancha is the only international song... I don't even know what the hell that was though, it was the same thing over and over... and well lets just say... at 7 A.M. its very easy to dose off, and fail that song >.<! Painted Black, was redone in french.. but I don't think there was an actual french song on GH3...
Oh yeah, and a tip for rockband, and progression... Beat the whole thing with guitar and base first. You'll get a lot of 5 starred, and 5 gold starred songs, not to mention oodles of cash and fans. Trust me, then you don't have to worry about losing fans and stuff. Though yeah, the drums are freaking hard, i'm still in hard, can do like maybe 3 early songs on expert, and I blow ass at singing heh >.<!
Oh, and just wanted to add this, "When You Were Young" by the Killers, is an amazing song. I don't know why, I think its the epic sounding guitar part... it sounds like orchestral almost, probably synthesized, my friend says by a guitar pedal but... mehbeh...
Yeah, playing rockband with 4 people is definitely and experience, make sure they all have some music talent, or at least a sense of a beat o.o, I've had quite a few issues with my friends and them failing songs on easy =/. Though, everyone starts somewhere...
I mainly like epic songs, ones that really strike a chord and make me all goosebumply when I hear them -- really force a certain emotion upon you. (See: Requiem for a Dream) That's why Through the Fire and Flames is an exception to my general rule, because of it's massive epicness. I guess I just find most modern rock songs and their similars to just lack that particular epicness that grabs me~
Yeah, I've got one friend who can't even beat a song on Easy, but he's a .... special case. x3
Oh god yes, Requiem of a Dream is freaking awesome! The guy who composed that should be prancing around in all of his glory.
That song has an awesome, suspenseful, feel to it... Like you said, it creates this motion, but I can't exactly place what emotion that is... Man, listening to songs like that, just really make me want to create some epic type of animation to that music... in like flash or something...
Yes! Quite.
I've never heard such a 'hopeless' song. It gives you an epic feel unlike any other and it's song like that that just make me all squee-ful. <3
