Ok, it's down to the wire and I've still not got enough money saved up to have my car fixed.
I've already gotten enough to get the catalytic converter. Just not enough to have someone put it on. Unfortunately, a friend of ours cannot do it because Ford decided to weld a cover OVER it- so it takes extra crap to do. D:
i'm in desperate need of my car back- because my husband works full time (and has his car with him)- and my son will be starting Pre-K in the beginning of August. there are no buses for City School Pre-K, and there's no public transit here. so, i really, really need my car.
my mother has been nice enough to let me borrow her behemoth SUV during the summer- but she goes back to work full time August 1st. Not to mention, the gas on that thing has been KILLING us- it really only gets 14MPG in the city. i hate, hate that vehicle. every bit of extra money i have is pouring into GAS for that THING.
