Hey guys, just feel as though I need to finally vent about something that happened earlier today. I'm a bit of a wreck and it will probably take some time to heal emotionally and physically.

At around 4:25am this morning, I was walking to the train station on the way to work for an early morning shift. I was around 900m from home and there was a taxi sitting at the bus stop. A man in his early 20's was walking across the pedestrian crossing and was about to get in the cab with his friend. He saw me round the corner and said that he was going to "walk home" instead. He then approached me and pushed me against a fence and demanded money off me (which I didn't have any of) and started to hit me in the face.

After around 8 or 9 swings to the face, he then threw a can of some alcoholic beverage at my face and jumped in the taxi. After asking the Taxi driver to call for help, the other passenger in the car yelled out "as if we would help you!" and the cab then drove off! I stumbled back around the corner away from the main street in case they came back and called my parents for help. I have a concussion, bruises to the face and swelling around my eyes, nose and lips along with several cuts and chipped teeth.

After being picked up, covered in blood I went down to the police station and then went to the hospital to get medical advice. I'm going back to the station to file an official complaint and going through all the legal mumbo jumbo. I'm hoping they can track the taxi down and at least look at the surveillance cameras and identify the mongrels that did this to me.

While the injuries are only minor, the emotional scarring is what will take a long time to heal. So if i'm a bit edgy for the next couple of weeks I apologize in advance.
