Terror in Norway
Only yesterday, two terrible incidents happened in Norway. First, a bomb went off in the government offices in Oslo, killing 7 people and injuring many more. Then, on the island of Utoy, a man masquerading as a police officer gunned down 84 people before he was arrested. The people were there for a political get-together and the man said he was there to check the situation.
91 people dead in the course of 1 day. I couldn't believe that number when I heard it this morning. Norway is not a country where I imagined something like this could happen. I'm now a bit anxious for my sister, who is leaving for Norway to live there in a couple of weeks (a town just outside Oslo, as it happens).
My heart goes out to the people of Norway for this tragedy. May nothing of the sort happen again.

It's just so terrible. Our entire country has been in shock, and the news report on it, where among others the survivors of that attack gave accounts, shook me to my bones.

I imagine it would. That can't be good for anyone's nerves. How are you holding up now?

I'm fine, I'm just very sad, and it's now almost confirmed that the whole thing was the work of one Norwegian man who had police and army experience. That's a bit scary.

Indeed.

It's also scary that his guns were more effective than his bomb. I can see terrorist groups taking note of this. >.<
